Hi loves! What are your plans for Valentine's weekend? Drop your favorite color heart-emoji below if you think you deserve to pour some love back into yourself ❤️ Angstrom = each individual soul. Alpha = the Collective soul :) We are all in this together, dear ones, and while individually, we have so much beauty and light, our joy and strength amplify when we grow as a community, don't you agree? 🌈 This weekend, Feb 14-16, bring yourself, your soulmate, your best friend, or anyone you know who needs a boost -- we still have a few spots remaining. Why? You'll form new friendships and have profound experiences. And you'll come away with an evidence-based breathwork technique you can do on your own to reduce stress, restore your energy, and heal mentally/physically.

Good afternoon, my loves! We have a very special Wellness Workshop today on zoom at 5:30pm PT (8:30pm ET). Harnessing the power of the breathwork and meditation can help us feel resilient in such stressful times, release pain from our nervous system, spread positive vibrations, and start the year with peaceful, calm energy. We still have a few spots open, if you’d like to sign up on this form in the next 3 hours.

My chronic pain had me running in circles for months and years before I got my life back.

And doctors told me "you probably need to go on disability insurance and won't be able to become a therapist or ever practice yoga again."

Something about that didn't feel right to me. With some faith and a whole lot of holistic healing, I finally got rid of my pain for good.

Want to hear how I did it? Without any more medications, injections, or surgery? Join me for my free masterclass in 2 days!

I'll be teaching the Pain Reset Masterclass this Thursday, November 30th at 5:00pm Pacific Time.

Comment below or message me so I can save you a spot and give you the details in your time zone. See you there!

You are fiercely surrounded by a circle of love.

In the wild, there is an amazing social dynamic observed by scientists, described as an elephant circle, While males go off on their own after puberty, females form an all-female herd. And each and every female is integral.

They feel empathy, they trumpet to warn each other of impending danger, they organize and coordinate migration and nurturing of their young, And if a sister is ill, hurt, elderly or giving birth, her elephant sisters surround her.

They form a circle, standing shoulder to shoulder, and they create a protective wall against attackers. Then they kick up dirt and raise a ruckus to throw off any scents from predators, protecting their sisters and newborns.

They give hugs, make sympathetic clicking sounds to comfort distressed sisters, and as they do, they form a bond so deep that they grieve, and even cry for their loved ones, from birth till death.

And as Jen Hatmaker says,

"This is what we do, girls. When our sisters are vulnerable, when they are giving birth to new life, new ideas, ... when they are under attack, when they need their people to surround them so they can create, deliver, heal, recover...we get in formation. We close ranks and literally have each others' backs. You want to mess with our sis? Come through us first. Good luck. And when delivery comes, when new life makes its entrance, when healing finally begins, when the night has passed and our sister is ready to rise back up, we sound our trumpets because we saw it through together. We celebrate! We cheer! We raise our glasses and give thanks."

We never know if tomorrow we will be the one standing in the circle or the one in the middle. But because of our amazing sisterhood, we DO know that we are each protected, supported, and blanketed in unconditional love.

Does anyone else LOVE (or at least put effort into) cooking for others but when it comes to yourself, you struggle with carving out the time to nourish your own body with a colorful, delicious, home-cooked meal?

Almost as if it’s not worth the effort if it’s just for yourself? 🥺

Through my trauma work, I’ve come to learn that this is a people-pleasing tendency and a pattern of chronic self-neglect.

This past week, I’ve had to really check myself because I’ve been working/attending meetings through my lunch breaks and not truly honoring and listening to my body’s needs.

And if you, like me, are a chronic people-pleaser (or a work in progress 🥹), then I want to remind you that

🌻 your needs matter
🌻 you are loved, and
🌻 your body needs you to nourish yourself…

EVEN IF that means cooking a delicious felafel bowl 🍲 with sugarplum grape tomatoes 🍅, freshly chopped cucumber 🥒, sprouted greens 🥗, and homemade pine nut hummus 😋… (gasp!) ALL JUST for yourself…

It’s true, you DESERVE it

This is hard to swallow, I know.

“How is it not a waste of time to treat myself?” But it’s actually a very good thing.

You’ll feel the self-love because your body, your mind, and your soul will thank you 💛

Let me know in the comments what your next homemade meal will be, because despite how busy you are, YOU are worth it 🌻😊
