Jacob Gibson graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in May, 2020 from Idaho State University. He earned his Bachelor’s from BYU-Idaho in Public Health in 2017. Jacob has a passion for working with children of all ages and enjoys making their play therapeutic through guided movement patterns and positioning techniques. He approached all his education with the goal of working in a pediatric clinic. That focus led him to experiences including participation in an Interdisciplinary Pediatric Evaluation Team and exposure to multiple pediatric clinics and therapy techniques. His clinical experience ranges from treating patients with idiopathic toe walking to those with more complicated presentation and diagnoses such as spastic Cerebral Palsy and Dandy Walker Malformation with Joubert Syndrome. Jacob is fluent in Spanish and is always eager to use that skill to enhance the quality of his care. He has two beautiful daughters of his own at home. In his free time, he enjoys getting outside for walks and camping with his family.
