A woman came in recently with tightness through her neck and upper back.

She said it had been building for a while…
but lately it felt constant.

As we started talking, it became clear she had been carrying a lot of stress around her kids.

Worrying.
Thinking ahead.
Trying to hold everything together.

She said,
“I don’t think I ever really relax.”

And her body showed that.

Her shoulders were tight,
her neck was holding tension,
and everything felt like it was “on” all the time.

This is something I see often.

When you’re constantly thinking about everyone else,
your body stays in a state of holding.

Even when you sit down…
it doesn’t turn off.

As I worked, we focused on releasing that tension in the body and helping her system settle.

By the end of the session, her shoulders had softened,
her breathing had slowed,
and she felt more at ease than she had in a while.

but because her body finally got a break from holding everything.

I was going through my crystals today and this one really stuck out to me.
It’s a piece of garden quartz, and when you look inside it, there are these little scenes… like tiny landscapes held in place.
I ended up putting it on my desk just to enjoy it.
There’s something about it that just lifts your energy a bit and makes you smile a little more.
