Mount Vernon FFA Chapter

Three of our members in our chapter went to FFA camp in Muskingum from June 15-17, Conner Thomas, Charlie Banks, and Anderson Seng. While they were at camp they went peddle boating, kayaked, learned how to shoot shotguns, played beach volleyball, and swam. Thank you to Mrs. Seng and Miss plumly for driving our members. They had a blast!

On March 13, 2026, 34 of our high school and middle school members departed from the high school at 7:30 and went to the Southeastern Invitational in Muskingum County.
Here they competed in livestock judging, Nature interpretation, Meat evaluation, and Agronomy.
They learned how to identify birds by their call, how to tell which meat is better by looking at it, which livestock is better, and identify weeds and plants that you might see in your field. We had a blast and can’t wait till next year. Go Jackets 💙💛
