Knox County Quilt Guild

Glenn Fischer received three awards at the United Quilt Guild show taking place in Salem Ohio this weekend.

Glenn entered “Ellie” who was awarded “Best Use of Color” and First place in the category of Wall Hanging.

Glenn also entered his muscle car, “Damn Proud” and won first place in the Bed Quilt category.

It is always such a heartwarming event, when a Quilt of Valor is gifted to a service man or woman. We all are so proud of, and grateful for, their service and so pleased to be a part of the generous and talented Knox County Quilt Guild.

Mount Vernon Marine veteran honored with Quilt of Valor Lowell Henthorn enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1965 and served two years in Vietnam. He received a Quilt of Valor recognizing his service.
