Due to the weather, Kickin’ It with the Cops has been cancelled for today 7/14/2026. Please join us on Thursday, July 16th at 3:30pm at the River Trails Middle School for the next scheduled Kickin’ It with the Cops.

Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM, certified car seat technicians from our Department will be offering free car seat inspections in the parking lot of 111 E. Busse Avenue, the former Chase Bank. No appointment is needed and all that is asked is you attempt to install the seat prior to arriving. Please get the word out to help keep our kids safe. If you have any questions or need to make an appointment for a different time to have your car seat checked, call (847) 870-5656.

Mark your calendars for a fun-filled evening dedicated to total family wellness! The Mount Prospect Human Services Department is excited to host the Family Health Fair on Wednesday, August 5, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Busse "Pocket" Park. We’re bringing the community together for a fantastic, FREE event packed with vital health resources and screenings, facepainting, music, and interactive activities for the whole family! Plus, the first 150 attendees will receive a complimentary Kona Ice. We can't wait to see you there!
