Connection & Compassion Series at Tiny Hooves Sanctuary
Saturday June 27th, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

You’ll leave with a lowered stress level, profound sense of fulfillment, and a heightened sense of emotional resilience that all comes from this compassion exchange.

Escape the daily grind for a deep dive into peace and a reciprocal loop of healing. This adult-only session allows for meeting animal residents and hands-on connection with those who are comfortable with physical contact. After familiarizing yourself with the animals, participate in a guided group energy session to clear mental clutter by grounding yourself in the rustic earthiness of the sanctuary farm. We will then collectively practice an offering of peaceful, loving energy back to the sanctuary residents.

I will highlight the resident animals’ personalities to help you connect and understand them. You’re welcome to ask questions about species, sanctuary farm life, following a compassionate dietary path, etc.

🥹🥹🥹This is big! I’m leading some new, very interactive events at Tiny Hooves Sanctuary. Two adult-only sessions and two kid-friendly sessions.

“Connection & Compassion” is the adult-only event that means we can sit with animals inside their pasture or barn stall for an extended time so you can really get to know them and enjoy the inner peace that comes from connecting with animals. I’ll provide a guided energy session to help you clear mental clutter and ground yourself in the rustic earthiness of the sanctuary farm. We will then collectively practice an offering of peaceful, loving energy back to the sanctuary residents.

“Fence-Side Friendship” is the kid-friendly event where we spend extended time with animals from behind the fence, for safety. I’ll help the group see what makes them the same and different from us, notice their adorable personalities, and demonstrate caring interactions. Let’s create the next generation of sanctuary superheroes and teach kids to be able to regulate their nervous systems by practicing simple breathing with happy-heart thoughts. We will practice sending “invisible hugs” over the fence to the animals to show our love.

Movement science and functional movement studies can help determine HOW you do a yoga pose and WHY. Sometimes the “right” alignment is just based on creating the look of symmetry and a certain shape in the body, but not useful. It is usually NOT a safety issue. Considering functional movement means positioning the body WITH PURPOSE.

Upcoming classes:
Wednesdays May 27 through summer: Yoga in the Yard at Mocha Lisa Coffeehouse 5:30-6:15 pm

Mondays at Mandala Yoga Racine for Focus & Strength 5:30 pm and Restorative 7 pm. There will be a sub on June 1 and June 15.
