Fetching Flora

We think it’s about time “Fetching Flora” showed its face over here! Even though we’d rather stay on the other side of the lens, we know we always want to see the people behind the business, so maybe you do too?
So...hi! I’m Annie, one half of Fetching Flora and lover of flowers for as long as I can remember. Flowers have always enchanted me for obvious reasons, but also for personal, nostalgic ones. They have the ability to help us recall meaningful memories, either through the mental images they conjure up, or through their scents that take us to a specific time and place in the past. Which is why they’re an essential part of the wedding day!

I started Fetching Flora in 2015 after my brave sister-in-law indulged my love of flowers and let me do hers for her wedding. I found the whole process; from dreaming with her, to designing, ordering, and then creating the final arrangements, so exciting and satisfying. After doing it once, I had to do it again! Friends and family started asking me to do their weddings, and it grew from there. Thank goodness for a super supportive husband, parents, sister/business partner, and all our brides and grooms, who are helping to to keep this dream alive!
