The Victory Garden, located on the Center Line Public Schools campus, is being built to promote students' connection with nature and sustainable agriculture.
Equipped with outdoor learning labs, a food forest, gardening beds, pollinators and a stormwater bioswale, this garden is set to be the perfect spot for students to be fully immersed in nature.
Our Macomb County Parks and Natural Resources team collaborated with other sponsors to make this project a reality and are continuously working to make it an even greater asset for the students! Be on the lookout for updates as their hard work continues to pay off.

It’s and we want to highlight all of the hard work done by our Macomb County Parks and Natural Resources team. Under the Green Macomb program and Blue Economy initiative, they are committed to sustaining and restoring our county’s natural areas. This includes over 13,000 acres of tree-covered public space and our noteworthy blue ways: Lake St. Clair and the Clinton River.
The team also works tirelessly to write and develop regional master plans to expand recreation, access to green spaces and healthy living for those living in Macomb County. Some of these plans include the Spillway Master Plan and North Branch Greenway which together will impact more than six of our communities.
