MCREST Men's Shelter: Ribbon Cutting On Wednesday, July 22nd, MCREST invites the community to join us for the official ribbon cutting of our new permanent Men's Shelter.

🚪👶 Montana Came to MCREST Expecting a Baby. Now, She Has a New Home and a Daughter.

Montana Lanman arrived at MCREST with one of life's biggest moments just around the corner. She was pregnant, she was in shelter, and she had a lot of uncertainty ahead of her.

She handled it like a superstar.

Montana gave birth to her daughter while still in the MCREST program — and never lost sight of her goal. She put in the work, leaned on the support around her, and secured a new place in Canton, Michigan for her and her baby girl.

Recently, Montana reached out to her Case Manager, Danielle, to share photos of her new home — and her thriving six-month-old daughter.

In her own words:

"Thank you guys for all you did for me while I was down on my luck. I appreciate everything MCREST did for me and all the staff that kept me going. MCREST helps those who want the help and are willing to put in the work, and I am so grateful to have known all of you."
