TROOPER IS HOME!!
After a week at the hospital, Trooper is finally home and ready to start his new life, free from pain and discomfort. He’ll be on stall rest for another week, but has new friends B.C. and Polar to keep him company. He’s also getting plenty of visits from our staff and volunteers who are all excited to be meeting him for the first time after also following his story! We’re working on figuring out his favorite treats and so far, the German stud muffins seem to be a hit!
Thank you all for cheering him on and sending him so much love! We’ll keep everyone updated as Trooper continues to heal and begins his new life at Gentle Giants!

Oh boy oh boy! We can’t wait to show you our newest group of ‘ponies’ - this is a pretty unique group we’ve got here! Stay tuned!

Trooper is all tucked in to his stall at the hospital and is currently going through his intake assessment. We’ll know more about his prognosis and the plan forward later tonight or early tomorrow morning. We’ll keep everyone posted as we know more!

Can you believe this gorgeous shot of handsome Peter didn't make the cut?! That just means we have even more incredible photos of the many beautiful rescue horses that reside here at Gentle Giants that will be revealed as soon as calendars are printed and shipped later this year!
