We're excited to announce our line up of 6 local dancing "stars" who will be competing for the coveted mirror ball trophy in the 3rd Annual Dancing with the Moses Lake Stars Fundraiser!
MEET HEATHER MASON: Hi, my name is Heather Mason. I am so excited to be a part of this year's fundraiser for Central Basin Community Concert Association.
I grew up in Moses Lake. After graduating I went to school outside of Chicago. I was lucky enough to travel a lot and live in several different states. I moved back to Moses Lake in 2014 and opened my coffee shop downtown, Mason's Place, on May 1st of 2015. My absolute favorite aspect of this business is all of the wonderful people I get to meet and work with. The vision for the space was to be one where everyone is welcome and can feel like part of a family.
In my free time I love to be outside hiking or on the water and spending time with my dear friends. I love to travel and hang with my two kids and growing family.
See you at Dancing with the Stars! Your donation counts towards my votes and winning the coveted mirror ball trophy!

MEET BRIAN McGOWEN: I am honored to support the Central Basin Community Concert Association, they do a lot for music in general for our schools, allowing local kids to fall in love more with music and keeping them out of trouble.
Born in Hawaii in 1977 I had the opportunity to live in multiple places as a Navy brat until we made Washington our forever home. First in Seattle, then in 1993 Moses Lake and have lived here and love it here since. I'm a graduate of MLHS class of 1996 I also started my public service in 1996 as a volunteer firefighter with Grant County Fire District 5 where I obtained an EMT certification and proudly serve our community today going on 30 years. While working as an EMT I got certified as a nursing assistant and later would work in Othello and Wenatchee as an ER tech. I always had a love for public service as well as politics throughout my growing up. Later I decided to run for public office and in 2009 was elected as a Port commissioner for the Port of Moses Lake and proudly served 2 years for the great people of Moses Lake (side note I was also the youngest Port commissioner ever elected in the state of WA at the young age of 31).

MEET EMILY DUVALL: Hello I'm Emily Duvall whole life resident and super fan of Moses Lake. I fell in love with a hometown farm boy turned music teacher and we have our darling son Wally that is our whole world. We have been long time supporters of the arts in this area mostly through Theatrical productions with the High School, Basin Community Theatre, Quincy Valley Allied Arts, Masquers and the newly formed Sunshine Performing Arts.
We live for opportunities to bring culture to our town and we are grateful for organizations like CBCCA that have such a rich history of doing just that. Performing Arts has been a life blood for us both and brought so much joy to our lives and we hope to carry that love on to our sweet boy and the next generation of youth in this place we call home.
By day I work as a visit supervisor for Foster Children and their parents, I teach music to the children at church and If I can squeeze a moment in to be on stage I relish the opportunity. I do have a love for tik tok dances that runs deep and I'm hoping that will translate to putting on a good show for everyone at this event!
