R.R walked in and said “Harry Potter nails” and my brain immediately short circuited like I’d been hit with a spell I was not emotionally or mentally prepared for. Next thing I know I’m pulling out every cat eye polish I own like I’m about to summon Dumbledore himself.
We did multicolor cat eye bases because neither of us has the self control to pick one tone and honestly? Growth is utterly and completely overrated.

A white stag Patronus on a navy thumb because YES I know what’s up don’t start with me.
And then a gold snowflake on green because this is the closest either of us is getting to holiday spirit.
Then it spiraled.
Suddenly I’m painting the Snitch, a floating candle, winged keys, a feather, an ornament with a G… could it perhaps mean Gryffindor and then sprinkling gold lines everywhere like a child who found glitter for the first time.
Meanwhile we’re talking about how we’re both weirdly flexible for two people whose bodies wake up every day with a new “surprise.” Chronic illness twins. Mystery pain duo. The medical chart girlies.
If one of us coughs wrong it’s over.
Oh and the real plot twist of the appointment: we both genuinely thought I’d be a Slytherin and SHE is the Slytherin… only for the Sorting Hat of the Harry Potter website to inform me that I am, in fact, a Hufflepuff. A HUFFLEPUFF. I have to update her with this shocking news like I’m delivering a pregnancy test from Hogwarts. The betrayal I feel in my own identity? Astronomical.
Then we decided we’re going to the bar this week. Which is hilarious because neither of us likes people, or noise, or leaving the house, or… humanity in general. But look at us. Two gremlins trying to be social. Adorable.
Did a few accents. Had a great time. Might disintegrate tomorrow, who knows.
Book now before I slip into my “I can take on anything” delusion and start stacking five hour art sets like I’m in competition with Santa, acting like my spine isn’t one bad sneeze from clocking out permanently.

Holiday hours have arrived and I crawled out of school on my hands and knees to make this happen. I am one stressed, slightly crazed Christmas nail elf doing extended December hours while I attempt to save for my move to Greece (don’t worry it’s only for the summer), pay for the next round of school, and emotionally process the absolute nuclear attack that just obliterated my bank account after I went completely feral Christmas shopping and somehow also bought four Kraken games, opera tickets, concerts, and treats for myself because obviously I deserve it…. (Someone send me to AA for shopping ASAP)
If you don’t see a little Santa hat on the calendar, I’m in the nail room. If you do, I’m fighting for my life elsewhere. Plan accordingly, book accordingly.
FIRST HALF OF DECEMBER
December 1–14
Closed Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturday the 6th.
Tuesdays 8:45 AM to 2 PM.
Thursdays and Fridays 8:45 AM to 9:30 PM.
Saturdays and Sundays 10:15 AM to 10:30 PM.
Only 44 appointments exist and that is terrifying for all of us.
SECOND HALF OF DECEMBER
December 15–31
Closed December 24, 25, and 31.
Monday through Wednesday 8:45 AM to 3 PM.
Thursday and Friday 8:45 AM to 9:30 PM.
Saturday and Sunday 10:15 AM to 10:30 PM.
Only 66 appointments available and I will not be pulled from the dead to add more.
