MEP Designs Inc. Announces new Director of Engineering
Joseph Galluzzo PE – Vice President and Director of Engineering

Mr. Galluzzo joins MEP Designs as the Director of Engineering overseeing all aspects of engineering and design. MEP Designs and Global Project Services presently have joined forces to design and implement three new wet scrubbing systems for a fertilizer manufacturing company in South Africa. Mr. Galluzzo and MEP designs have recently completed commissioning one of the three systems designed by Mr. Galluzzo and MEP Designs.

Mr. Galluzzo has more than 35 years of engineering and design experience including process engineering and project management. Mr. Galluzzo has been instrumental in various projects for design and construction of manufacturing facilities to produce vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, foods and chemicals for these industries.

Mr. Galluzzo has been in responsible charge as project director for many EPCMV projects in both operating and consulting company environments. His experience includes projects from process scale-up, preliminary engineering, economic studies, feasibility studies through detailed design, construction, validation, operator training, safety and plant start up. He has also participated in plant troubleshooting and de-bottlenecking studies which involved determining solutions and preparing projects to implement those solutions. He has managed projects from Conceptual Studies, Basic Engineering, through Detailed Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Validation and Licensing in the above industries.

Mr. Galluzzo was resident engineer and project executive on site in China for over 9 months, resident in Milan, Italy for over 38 months and worked on site in Swiftwater, PA for over 28 months acting as the Owner’s Project Director local projects using outside and in-country contractors.
