Clothing sizes are weird. Anyone else agree?

A few weeks ago I was in the fitting room of one of my favorite stores and I tried on a pair of shorts in a brand I’d never heard of before.

They were so cute.

I grabbed my normal size and went into the fitting room so excited to create a new outfit that I would LOVE.

Well.. guess what happened. I got them on and the shorts were just a little bit too tight.

So I tried a size bigger. And I loved them! Sizing is so weird, am I right?!?

So often we get caught up on the side the tag says, instead of just wearing what feels good.

Drop a ❤️ if you can get on board with ignoring the size on the tag and buying what looks and feels great!

They say you become like the 5 people you spend your time with.

Well after these past two days in Pittsburgh with these ladies, I sure hope it’s true!

I’m forever grateful for my Chic ladies and all they have and continue to teach me.

I’m so excited for what’s to come 💕

This place is finally starting to feel like home.

10 days ago we moved back to Illinois and this time we’ll be here for longer than 6 months. It’s nice to have a place that I can call my own.

A place to relax in.

A place to hang out.

A place to make my own.

I didn’t realize how important it was to have my own space. There’s something about being in your space where you can create your own routines, rituals, habits, systems, that really makes you feel at ease.

I didn’t know how much I craved those things. But when you don’t have them for a few months, you realize how important they really are.
