it's honestly just mean! & a pretty selfish decision because it spares you from having to say something hard, but can leave the other person in a painful and confusing position. this can cause self doubt and for an amazing human to wonder what they did wrong or feel insecure about themself.. but in reality the relationship just might not be working, which is completely OKAY.
