This past Thursday provided a great opportunity to test hydrants throughout town while giving our operators valuable time on the pumps.

Regular hydrant testing helps ensure that critical water supplies are available and functioning properly. It also reinforces the importance of knowing where our resources are located. Whether responding to a structure fire in the center of town or a remote incident on a back road, firefighters and apparatus operators benefit from having a strong understanding of hydrant locations, water supply options, and the unique challenges of different areas within our area.
