This crew from the Old Stone House, came to the Kitchen to pack bags. Thank you for spending some of your precious time with us. Hope you will come back again. (BTW, the Old Stone House folks are the same lovely people who purchased a new freezer for us this year.).

Today was the kind of day that makes John McFerrin, our Treasurer, sing with joy. Dena Clutter, Steven Clevenger, and Patricia Watson all from Truist Bank stopped by and presented checks from the Truist WV Foundation and the Weldon Family Foundation Trust. The two checks totaled $10,000. Both the Weldon Family Foundation and the Truist WV Foundation have been loyal supporters of the Community Kitchen. The Weldon Family Foundation Trust award supports our weekend meal bag program. The Truist WV Foundation funds support our High Fives program which enables us to provide additional high-protein food items to supplement our patrons' diets. Thank you for your generous support!
