Dancing through the lightening strikes for 2 years now

From just myself, to leading a team of 4 (soon to be 5 🤫) my vision of what Honey could be has come to life beautifully. I'm thankful for the women who have chosen to join me, the support of other businesses in our building, and each client who continues to choose us.

Nothing is ever perfect, but I imagine this is as close as it gets. Watching friendships form, careers grow, and clients find confidence makes all the hard work I've put in worth it.

Happy 2 Years to my second home and favorite adventure. I can't wait to see where this next year takes us. 💛

International Women’s Day :

a holiday celebrated annually as a focal point in the women’s rights movement. International Women’s Day gives focus to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.

1988 is the year women were finally able to open a business without a male co-signer.

The women’s rights movement is what allowed me the ability to have my own life not tied to a man for the sake of having one.

It’s what has given me the freedom to breathe my heart out+ soul into cultivating a space that elevates women.

I’m thankful for how much progress has been made. It makes me happy to see all that I have to celebrate.. just to name a few:

I am in a building of EIGHT women owned business.

My business networks have connected me with bad-ass women owners who support + lift me up.

My team is currently all women - they lead with kindness, working together to make our collective dream a reality.

Everyday, I feel empowered to make a difference and do my part in elevating the perception of women, fighting for what we deserve. is my way of doing that 💛

turned 1 today… one year of supporting me when I hoped it would fall together, one year of blow drys, + styles, one year of supporting me through the best and worse. Above all else, one year of : education, experience, and confidence.

When I say Jade has been the most perfect employee, I mean it. She has given 100% every day. She is dedicated to her career, and passionate about helping others.

I am so so so so so thankful for the joy she, her friends, and family have brought to my life.

I will always be thankful for her and her career, and thankful for all of what that means to me. I wish you nothing but the best J; can’t wait to see what the next year brings you 💛
