Beauty Mountain Overlook 🌅 Work in Progress

I’m at the mid-to-late phase in this painting, adding details and depth. Sharper spruce cones are coming together in the tree canopy and dark root shadows are going in. I will soften these with glazes of colorful light shining from the sunset.

I feel close enough to finish to think about what I want to tackle for the next painting in the series. Likely the view from Bridge Buttress Trail ✏️
