Last night we hosted the 2022 Diversity Awards Banquet.
Our area is working diligently to enhance racial and cultural diversity amongst the workforce.
Congrats to all the businesses, City, County and non-profits for being recognized (more than 20)!

It was such an honor to attend the Select 2000 Diversity Champion Awards Banquet last night at the Morganton Community House. UNC Health Blue Ridge received the Diversity Champion Award for Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Shown here with the award are Kathy Bailey, Blue Ridge President and CEO, and Morganton Mayor Ronnie Thompson. The award recognizes UNC Health Blue Ridge as being committed to “working to enhance racial and cultural diversity among recruits and hires for administrative and professional positions,” according to select2000.org.
