Colonel Alexander Erwin Chapter - SAR

Today was an amazing day and a great ending to a very long and eventful week.

The Colonel Alexander Erwin Chapter, along with the Catawba Valley Chapter and Alamance Chapter, supported the Gadsden Chapter out of New Mexico State as they honored a Patriot, SGT John Rocket, buried in Connelly Springs, North Carolina.

This Patriot Grave Marking Event had several SAR and DAR chapters in attendance from NC, GA, FL, NM, WA, and LA.

There were 57 people in attendance, to include over 20 descendants.

Robert Patton IV pointed out that there were three past presidents of the chapter in attendance, along with current chapter president.
There are also the next three (possible four) future presidents of the chapter.

The next 9 years are in good hands!!!
