After spending time this past week at the PA State Association of County Fairs & the PA State Showmen’s Association in Hershey, PA, it reinforced something we see across the businesses we work with every day.
There’s something fitting about having these conversations in Hershey, a place built on the long game. The businesses represented here are shaped by early mornings, long days, logistics, safety, weather calls, and a lot of problem-solving behind the scenes. They survive by showing up consistently and doing the work well, season after season.
The sessions focused on budgeting, building your fair as a business, what’s trending, and using social media with intention. Not for hype, but for staying power. The emphasis wasn’t on chasing the next thing. It was on understanding what actually works for you and applying it in a way that lasts.
One line from the Showman’s dinner captured it perfectly: you have to “ride the ins and outs.” That mindset shows up in every business built for the long haul.
At Vinciguerra Creative, we work with brands that operate the same way. Businesses that care about trust, consistency, and showing up the right way over time.
