Connecting students to experts and employers in their field is one of the many ways prepares students for their futures. Today, we welcomed alumni , CEO, and , social media brand specialist, from to campus where they shared insights into the field or marketing, professional tips and helpful advice to students.

Over half of employers look for leadership skills when deciding who to hire. Students can develop these skills by joining student organizations, seeking out additional responsibilities in part-time jobs, and taking the lead in group projects. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 7:30 pm - Myna Therapy will be in Murray Hall connecting with SLHS/SLP students sharing information on internship and employment opportunities.

Thursday, Nov. 14 at 12 pm - Doosan Bobcat will be in the Center for Buiness room 105 talking about work readiness and how to prepare for a career in finance.
