Okie Rig Fishing Tackle

I had the most unbelievable pleasure the last 2 days. I fished 3 Brothers( Link, Mickey and Chris) on Bois D’ Arc Lake in Texas. You can tell how close this family is something you do not see a lot of these days.
These guys talked and laughed about event and people they knew growing up. Man Oh! Man! could these guys
Catch bass. In a day and half they put 85 in the boat as you can see in these

Wednesday and Thursday I fished Steve and Bill 2 half days. Bill lives in Dallas and Steve lives in Edmond. They are both retired geologist. They did worked together at the same company years ago. Steve is half of that might duo Pat and Steve who put a smack down on 74 Smallmouth on lake Murray’s few weeks back. Pat could not make it because of some nonsense about going to Hawaii. Bill has worked all over the World. Bill and Steve are very interesting to listen to of all the places they have been to. Saudi Arabia to South Africa.. Fishing had really slow down, but they did catch 22. Hope we can do it again in the spring.

Yesterday, October 2nd I was on Bois D Arc checking spots for a trip next week. I was there last week and caught 49, but those fish have moved. It was a lot slower with the heat coming back. But I did catch my Personal Best for this Lake, 8-2 . Interesting fact on October 2 2012 I caught Eufaula Ok official Lake record 11-14. If that Bois D Arc Bass would have been 1 lbs and 1 oz bigger it would have been a new lake record for Bois D Arc. I did check it on 2 different scales and both were the same, 8-2. Next Spring that bass will be 10 plus easy.
