Seeking: biomedical science teacher with a passion for educating students in biomedical sciences as well as exposing them to various opportunities and careers in the world of biomedical science.

Applicants must hold a valid Alabama teaching certificate in General Science, Biology, or Health Science or be an experienced healthcare professionallicensed in Alabama as a Registered Nurse, Athletic Trainer, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Physician, Physician Assistant, RespiratoryTherapist or Nurse Practitioner (If candidate has adequate experience, teacher certification can be acquired.)

A note from one of our middle school members on his ILC experience.. Vil "Trey" Johnikin III, representing the State of Alabama at the 2026 HOSA International Leadership Conference served as an ambassador for Leadership Initiatives and also a volunteer for the non profit organization, GoBabyGo. This organization focuses on building and donating adaptive electric ride on vehicles for children with mobility challenges.
