To any techs out there.... any HP convertible laptop screen replacements..... A friendly suggestion once you complete the replacement do not panic when the keyboard and mouse decide to stop working! carefully scan the back of your broken screen for a little chip on the back of the screen should be a ribbon cable connected to it. If this chip is not there DO NOT TAKE the job!! Because (you will not be able to return the device in proper working order). If you do not have the chip then you must go into device manager and disable (The Intel Integrated Sensor) enables the Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and eCompass sensors that provide rotation control functionality. meaning your keyboard and mouse will always work whilst in tablet mode! You can also look for U28 chip on the motherboard and remove!
