Exciting news for the Capital Region!

Meta has announced the expansion of its Montgomery Data Center, bringing its total investment in our region to over $1.5 billion. Once complete, the 1.3M sq. ft. campus will support more than 100 operational jobs, over 1,500 skilled trade workers during construction, and continue fueling Montgomery’s growth as a hub for AI, cybersecurity, and innovation.

Beyond infrastructure, Meta is investing in our community—supporting STEM education, robotics programs, and local schools, while also launching a Community Action Grants program to strengthen STEAM initiatives and community projects.

This expansion is a powerful validation of Montgomery’s role as a competitive, forward-looking city where technology, innovation, and opportunity thrive! 🌐
