Loved racing the timed sectors, then enjoying the gravel roads and singletrack between sections with other riders and stopping in the feed zones to refuel. Proper cowboy country out there!

Turns out I did a pretty good job staying out of sight from the camera at over the weekend 😅

In reality though, there was nowhere to hide out there. The race absolutely lived up to the hype - a brutally hard day out on some of the best roads Sonoma County has to offer.

I hung on and fought to stay in the mix as long as I could, but the legs were pretty zapped after 230km and 4000m of climbing.
