NASW Monterey County Unit

Hello! The folks at NASW MCU have been leaning into summer and taking well-needed breaks. We will get back together in the next weeks to plan for next year. In the meantime, please check out the upcoming Macro Social Work symposium on July 27th

Great time at the Giants game with a fantastic crew - four rows of social workers! Thanks to Tihane for stepping up to the plate and making this event happen. We would love to make this an annual event for the Montery County NASW unit. Stay tuned!

On March 28, 2023, the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, formerly proclaimed the month of March 2023 as “Professional Social Work Month” for Monterey County to join with the National Association of Social Workers, the NASW Monterey County Unit, and the more than 700,000 social workers around the nation in celebration and support of Professional Social Workers.
