We were honored to welcome Taylor Locke (.14 ) and Aliza Lopez ( ) of NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness; ) to our speaker series this summer!

Taylor and Aliza generously shared their personal mental health journeys, along with insight into NAMI’s incredible work as the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

Sarah is a rising senior at MHS. This summer, she will create a webpage that shares resources and information about Pica, a mental health condition where a person compulsively swallows non-food items. Her goal is to alleviate stigma and create awareness by encouraging those who may be struggling to seek out help. Welcome, Sarah, and we’re thrilled to have you as part of this summer’s cohort!
