18 years ago today - February 28, 2008 - Mixtape Sessions became a record label. What began as an idea shaped by late nights, DJ culture, and a belief in independence grew into a catalog of music, stories, and collaborations that continue to travel far beyond where they started.

Mixtape Sessions has always been about freedom - freedom to create, to release music on our own terms, and to document the moments and emotions that live between the beats. From Brooklyn sessions to listeners around the world, every release carries that original spirit forward.

Thank you to everyone who has listened, danced, collaborated, and supported along the way. The past 18 years built the foundation. The next chapter is already unfolding.
