🇺🇸 A Message from the Montclair Fourth of July Parade Committee 🇺🇸

We’re excited to celebrate Independence Day with our community and look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s Montclair Fourth of July Parade!

With high temperatures and a significant heat index expected, we ask everyone to help make safety our top priority. Please bring plenty of water or a refillable water bottle, stay hydrated throughout the day, wear lightweight, light-colored clothing, use sunscreen, and consider bringing an umbrella for shade while waiting along the parade route.

Please remember that young children, older adults, and pets are especially vulnerable to extreme heat. Check in on family members, friends, neighbors, and those around you, and don’t hesitate to offer a helping hand if someone appears to be struggling.

If you or someone nearby begins to show signs of heat exhaustion or heat illness, seek assistance immediately from a police officer, firefighter, EMT, parade volunteer, or event official.

As we come together to celebrate our nation’s independence, we’re celebrating America’s 250th Birthday—a historic milestone that reminds us of the strength, spirit, and unity of our country and our community.
