Congrats to my clients becoming first time homeowners! First we were under contract on a separate property. We were ready to close on 6/28/24. Come to find out, the CO was never ordered! Long story short, things got complicated, and we got out of that contract. My buyer and I were determined to find his family a home. We hit the pavement once again and became under contract in just under two weeks. We finally closed today. What a beautiful way to start the next chapter of their lives.

By law, Beginning August 17th, I will NOT be allowed to show you a home, unless you have a signed Buyer’s Agreement with me. This is going to be required nationwide!

Starting August 17th, a REALTOR®️ will not be able to tour a home without you FIRST signing that agreement.

This will be non negotiable for any real estate agent with a REALTOR®️ designation (one who agrees in advance to abide by the National Association of REALTORS Code of Ethics).

That agreement is your contract between you and that REALTOR®️ stating you will be hiring them to purchase a home, and agree to the roles, duties and responsibilities owed to you by your agent and your duties to your agent, along with compensation details.

Interviewing and coming to an agreement with the agent of your choice is an important decision and not one that should be taken lightly.

Interview, and choose wisely!

Remember, interview your REALTOR®️, get referrals from your friends, and make your decision.

Purchasing a home is a HUGE step! You will want someone that will look out for YOUR best interest, someone that knows the local market well, someone that understands the contracts and addenda, someone that can explain your contractual deadlines and someone that will answer your call or text!
