This morning, the Western States Sheriffs’ Association hosted our very first Annual Prayer Breakfast. It was a truly touching ceremony and a refreshing way to center ourselves before a busy week of sessions.

In partnership with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office and Joppa Training Group, we are excited to host a pre-conference class “Next Level Leadership”, February 26 – 28, 2026 at the Reno Public Safety Training Center in Reno, Nevada. This training opportunity will occur in advance of the Annual Western States Sheriffs’ Association annual conference.

Next Level Leadership is for all peace officers and personnel of all ranks, tenure, and assignment. Students will deepen their understanding of today’s profession and challenges, the value of quality organizational leadership, communication, leading police cultures, all while improving professional and personal relationships.

There will be a block of rooms reserved at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino at a reduced rate.
