It’s important to remember the good times. Each player cherishes specific memories from their time on the field, either as a coach or as a player! Remember those moments and share with the ones around you who are the most important like this Grandpa did.

“Success is not base on what you know; it’s base on what you learn.” -Jacob Salem

The only time a strike out is truly a lose is when you don’t learn from them. Even if the only lesson you take from a strike out is to see the ball better, it can be a success if you learn from it.

Learning from the mistakes made on the field makes a better baseball player. The best baseball players learn from their mistakes so they don’t make the same ones a second and third time.

As everyone goes back to practice remember to learn from your mistakes.

“Every strike out brings me closer to my next home run.” -Babe Ruth

One of the fundamental problems kids have to deal with in the game of baseball is failing. They will fail more times than they will succeed at the plate.

As coaches and parents, we are responsible for letting them know that failure is not based on the number of strikes they miss, but the number of times they step back to the plate to try again.

If they don’t step back up to the plate, then then never have a chance to hit their next home run.

Keep Moving Forward!
