Fitness goal —> to look like this again (or anywhere close) before fluctuating hormones took over my body emotionally and physically. 😔

There were so many times I looked in the mirror this past year and couldn’t believe that was me! I’ve literally spent the majority of the year in elastic waistband clothing. I’ve even driven to the gym and NOT gotten out of the car. 🙄 Now how does weight loss work with that decision making??? 🤔

I’ve got to get my mind right about all of this. This is one area of my life I’ve never prayed about. I guess I thought I didn’t need God’s help in this situation. Well I’ve decided I definitely need His divine intervention. 🙏🏻

God cares about even the little things. I’m not saying God cares about me being thin. No indeed. He cares about me being healthy - mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally...

My mission verse for Arthur Nolan Designs has always been “Love one another as I have loved you. By loving others, people will know that you are mine.” Jesus, John 13:34-35 ☝🏻 How can I love others when I have trouble loving myself?

I can’t leave God out of any area of my life. When I invited Him in to my heart, He should reign in all facets of my life. So my goal is to make Him King of ALL parts. Yes, I will undergo some much needed pruning that I’m pretty sure will hurt a little. But I desire to live on purpose for Him, to fulfill His kingdom, to glorify Him, and I cannot do that when I hold on to desires of the flesh.

My body is His temple and I have to treat it that way. Daily submission to Him will only take place if I pore over scripture, let His words marinate in me, and pray for the Holy Spirit to lead me. 🙏🏻

If you struggle as well, know Who gives you refuge, comfort, and peace. When I pray to God and ask to draw from His strength, I will pray for you as well. Let’s pray for and encourage one other in 2019. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Lets live out John 13:34-35.
