I have been receiving many messages on what I am doing with the Covid-19 outbreak. Diamond Clean is taking this very seriously and I have met with all of my employees to discuss what is going on. Each worker is aware that if they are sick, have any symptoms of any cold or flu, it is mandatory that they stay home. My first goal during this season is to make sure my workers and clients are safe and healthy.

Now cleaning wise, cleaning refers to the removal of germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces. Cleaning does not kill germs, but by removing them it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infections. Disinfecting, refresh’s to using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface AFTER cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection. With all that being said, we are going to clean all surfaces and after, we will disinfect the surfaces. Diamond Clean does use natural products to clean that kill germs. Sol-U Guard Botanical is EPA registered botanical disinfectant that we use, which kills 99.9% of germs, it does all the work without the chlorine bleach. We also use vinegar which also kills bacteria. Now, if you would like us to also use or replace our product with bleach/bleach wipes, we are willing to do that for your household.
