I struggle to understand why anyone would think it’s ok.

It seems like keeping trees alive long enough to provide any shade is a challenge. Every year seems like we sadly lose a 100 year old tree. It’s not something we can replace and nothing we can do about whatever it is killing them.

Please help by utilizing the provided drums when you need to dispose of spent oil. If you can’t find a drum without holes in bottom please ask and I will provide an alternative to dumping it at base of a shade tree.

Thank God for a safe event where we all go home just like we came. A select few as winners but all safe and sound.

Want to apologize for not being able to run event in cooler nighttime temps. By the time temps did drop (8:40pm) we were doctoring heat victims. Looking at later start times to offset this.

Congratulations to the winners showing us in 100+ degrees how it’s supposed to be done.
