The Monroe County Community College Alumni Association is teeing up for its 31st Annual Scholarship Golf Outing on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Carrington Golf Club in Monroe.

MCCC Upward Bound summer program is in full swing with students on campus from Airport, Jefferson and Monroe High Schools ranging from the ages of 13-18 (rising 9th graders to rising seniors).

The six-week component designed to expose the students to a college campus learning environment. During the summer, UB participants have the opportunity to take academic preparation courses in science, math, writing and a foreign language, all of which are designed to give them a head start in school for the following school year.
