Powder Studio

Vulnerability. This is the consistent feeling we have when sharing new products, constantly pushing content, trying to be witty and hoping we can find a place in your heart. Promoting a business is so necessary for our exposure and sales structure, but it can be the most tedious/awkward experience for us. So, back to vulnerability. This is me (Stephen) literally stripping down to show you the body that makes Powder Studio products. The body I neglect because of long working hours, the body I push to the limits during hectic times, the body that bruises and bleeds for the love of creating our forms. Through the years we’ve come to admire and treasure imperfections in sizes, shapes and finishes in our pieces; believing each item becomes more one of a kind and even more special. This love of imperfection in our ceramics is something that has begun to ring true with my body. Each imperfection; a bruise, skinned knuckle,
stubbed toe, stretch marks, oily skin, and everything else, are a part of what makes me, me. Learning lessons from my craft is something I never thought could happen, but here we are, showing ass and accepting this vessel that creates magic everyday.
