When other public safety agencies share safety information with us, we’re glad to pass it on to you. is a local leader in the Safe Kids Snohomish County coalition that works to prevent childhood injuries from traffic crashes, drownings, falls, burns, poisonings and more.

With warmer temperatures comes open windows. This presents an opportunity and misfortune of a child falling out of it.

-Keep windows closed when they are not in use.
-Install a window lock to prevent windows from opening more than 4 inches.
-Move furniture away from windows.
-Never move a child who appears to have seriously injured after a fall. Call 911.
