My babies of the feline variety decided that I didn't need my CF Card reader last week. More like they've been working on it for a month, but finally managed to finish the job.
I have just now gotten my replacement, so I'll start tomorrow on all of my backlog from MCAL Soccer game days #4, #5, & what I got from Playoffs on Tuesday! Thank ya'll for a record-breaking season!!

Reminder of how important it is that we do not let our players, or ourselves as parents or support staff, get too overheated this summer/fall in this Louisiana heat. This last week, I've already gotten so overheated I couldn't barely move after shooting/coaching. I had to have a parent finish coaching the last 2mins bc I couldn't stop throwing up/dry heaving.
I appreciate the organizations that I work for, for their care and concern, for continuing to improve on what they do to take care of our referees & support staff especially.

Update from Lux Smith’s mother. Lux Smith, 14yo, suffered from a heat stroke at football practice in Ruston, La. He has been in ICU since:
“Today they’re planning on extubating him again if he passes his breathing test tonight..we are excited but also nervous because of the events that followed quickly after last time.
Please pray that Lux tolerates everything and exceeds our expectations with all of this!
I cannot wait to hear him speak his testimony when all of this is said and done! ♥️
