No amount of preparation can give you the real time feedback of living life ā€œin the gameā€

At some point, you gotta lace up and get on the court and test your skill and stamina.

Consider now that time.
Consider this your formal invitation.

You will learn along the way and confidence with develop as you witness your own resilience as you navigate, survive, and even thrive in real life experiences.

Get in the game.

I got to play college basketball because I had been playing for 11 years by then.

I had been handling a ball since the first grade.

I had been on courts playing against opponents since the fourth grade.

I had gotten extremely comfortable and confident playing any competitor by the fifth grade.

I was playing ā€˜up’ in age very early on which gave me experience to excel.

Was I intimidated to play with freshman as a fifth grader? Definitely.

Did I figure it out? Hell yeah.

Many aspiring business owners and authors I meet wanna go pro without ever getting on the court.

They think another course will have them ready to launch their biz or book.

They need/want all the circumstances to be perfectly aligned before getting in the game.

That’s not how the game is played and won.

I didn’t study basketball.

I PLAYED IT

My little arms couldn’t get the ball to the basket in first grade, but I could dribble.

I started where I could and learned along the way.

I got stronger and more confident with age and experience.

You can’t study a layup, you practice it.

You don’t learn a free throw from a course.

After a hundred shots you start to pick up what helps and what harms your chances of success.

I didn’t study basketball.

I studied game film of me ON the court, playing the game.

I noticed my mistakes and corrected them.

My real time mistakes, not theoretical ones.

So that IN the game, I knew what do to.

Action creates clarity and traction.

No more studying will prepare you for the court of life and business.

But I can guarantee you that getting on the court will develop you into the player you want to be.

So dreamer, are you ready to get on the court?

If you need a coach, let me know. šŸ€
