79 years ago today, my mother made a decision against the doctors advice not to get pregnant because it could mean her life .  several months after his advice my mother got pregnant, my dad made an appointment with a back alley doctor for my mother to have an abortion. My mother told me they were going out the door and she stopped him and said if I die, I will die but I am not going to kill this baby. Thank God for her decision, because that baby was me —so I celebrate today my mother that is gone on the heaven. Because of her I am here to celebrate another birthday. Thank you my sweet mother. I will see her one day and thank her for her choice to save her baby.
