Indigo Law PLLC
What happens if I die without a Will? Let's use a cat as an example. When you die, you have a cat, but no Will. Who takes responsibility for the cat? One family member says you wanted them to have the cat. Another family member says you wanted your best friend to have the cat. Many different family members now want the cat. The family begins to disagree about who gets the cat. The fighting family members end up in court, and a judge decides who gets the cat. Now, replace "cat" with "children," "car," "house," "bank account," etc. Indigo Law can make sure your "cat" is safe and goes to whom you choose to care for it. Protect your cat! [email protected].
"I am single. Why do I need a will?" I heard someone say this once and it got me thinking . . . why does a single person need a will? For starters, you can direct who inherits your property, including your home, business, digital assets (i.e.: cryptocurrency, music and video library, self-published books, airline miles, etc.), pets, and financial accounts to name a few. When you're young and healthy, it may not cross your mind to draft a Last Will and Testament. It is never too early, but it may be at some point too late. Don't put it off. Indigo Law offers affordable pricing to get you started.
