Today we celebrate the men who teach, encourage, protect, listen, and lead by example. Biology doesn’t define a father. Presence does. Love does. Showing up does.
Whether you’re raising children, supporting a family, mentoring a young person, or holding a steady hand through life’s challenges, your impact matters more than you know.
To the fathers we celebrate, the father figures we cherish, and the memories of those no longer with us, we honor you today.

Today we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

At Monroe Yoga, we recognize Juneteenth as a reminder of the ongoing journey toward freedom, equality, and justice. It is a day to reflect, learn, listen, and honor the resilience, strength, and contributions of the Black community.

Yoga teaches us that liberation begins within, but it also reminds us that we are all connected. May we continue to create spaces where every person feels seen, valued, and welcomed.

Today, we pause in gratitude for those who came before us, celebrate progress, and commit to moving forward with compassion and understanding.
