Former President Donald Trump took a swipe at the city of Detroit while delivering a speech in front of the Detroit Economic Club on Thursday.
During his speech, he told the crowd that the entire country will end up like Detroit if Vice President Kamala Harris is elected.

Monroe County Community College will host three forums for area candidates seeking office in the upcoming November election. The forums will take place on consecutive nights -- Oct. 7, 8 and 9 -- with each beginning at 5:30 p.m.in the La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater.

The candidates and topics slated for each forum will include:
Oct. 7: U.S. and state-level representatives.
Oct. 8: County-wide offices
Oct. 9: County school boards and the MCCC Board of Trustees

Rollins was America’s 1st African-American woman dentist! Though little has been written about her, we know that she came from Cincinnati, Ohio and that she was an orphan born in the early years of freedom from slavery.
She was the 1st African-American woman to graduate from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, the 1st African-American woman to earn a D.D.S. degree, and the 1st African-American woman to practice dentistry in Chicago.
