Had a Customer concern their Heater wouldn't blow hot and had a shop quote $600 to replace an Actuator as the root cause.

Research is needed for any vehicle! TSB(Technical Service Bulletin) are vital for finding issues that may be happening to like models. In this case I found a TSB that stated the door end may be cracked. If cracked, install a #4 hose clamp to repair.

As the picture below shows, the end is cracked exactly as the TSB stated.

This shows that the previous shop was not doing their due diligence in finding the exact cause of the issue or the proper repair needed.
