Mustafa Avdic

Over the past two decades, Mustafa, a Bosnia native, has become a pivotal figure in Iowa's techno and underground dance music community. His dedication has cultivated a flourishing scene, earning him widespread recognition from fans and fellow artists.

Mustafa's influence extends beyond Iowa, with dynamic DJ performances captivating audiences across the Midwest and internationally. He's also a prolific producer, releasing and remixing original music for various global artists over the last twenty years. Most recently, he scored (produced music for) the movie "GI Joe Crimson Archer" alongside fellow producer Pri Yon Joni, further showcasing his versatile talent.
His career, which began in Des Moines, Iowa, saw him co-found Solar Cathedral Recordings in 2007. This groundbreaking label, Iowa's first dedicated techno imprint, operated successfully for three years, featuring globally recognized releases and remixes from esteemed producers such as DJ Misjah, Woody McBride, Dustin Zahn, Mladen Tomic, M.Gervais, and Dejan Milicevic, among others.

Mustafa is renowned for his ability to energize a crowd, transforming dance floors into an electrifying experience. His infectious passion for music and deep understanding of crowd dynamics are evident in every performance, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that converts attendees into devoted fans of both his artistry and techno music.
